Geisha moment

Remember that scene in Memoirs of a Geisha when Sayuri learns how to stop a man in his tracks with a single look? I had that effect 2 times today. It was rather funny.

I'm convinced it's my Detective Beckett jacket. There's power in pleather.

Tonight I am going to look like this. Yay Halloween! Wonder if I'll still stop 'em in their tracks.

Settle a debate

Ok all you zombie watchers out there, settle an argument for me. Would a hot air balloon be an effective escape vehicle? I claim no because (a) the learning curve on figuring the thing out would cause too much of a delay; (b) even if you had it figured out, it takes awhile to heat up and send the damn thing off anyway; (c) it's freakin open air--open air on a motorcycle is fine but in a slow moving basket, I don't think so. My friends disagree saying that you would store it on a roof or high building and send it off from there, thus zombies would not be able to immediately climb in. I say that I'm gonna be escaping in a much faster vehicle, and they can enjoy hanging around holding hands in a balloon singing Kum ba yah while zombies suck out their brains with a crazy straw.

Becoming a Sweathog

The short of it is that I had a concussion and haven't felt like posting. Instead, I've spent the past few days watching things like this: Zombie Bratz eating Soylent Barbies.

Ah, takes me back to my kid days.

Man, I hope my brain recovers.

Checking off my list

I never thought it would happen, but I actually formulated my zombie escape plan tonight, checking #5 off of my list and answering a question on my midterm. Yes, my friends, I am a badass.
